Our main objective of travel is to see new places, meet new people, try new food and spent some time in the lap of nature. But besides these major objective there are few minor details that we often miss and these are present everywhere. Whenever I travel to Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand state of India, I do not preoccupy my brain with tiger, though it being a Tiger Reserve. There are beautiful besides tiger to enjoy there.
While traveling to Shivpuri, where I witnessed beautiful sunset (read the post on sunset here), I captured another beautiful creation of Nature – Flowers. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism resort (Tourist Village) had a beautifully maintained lawn with plenty of beautiful flowers. While strolling one morning I captured this beautiful creation of nature and I wanted to share with all.
It was hard to believe that two hours have passed and I was still trying to capture some wonderful shots, lost in the world of blossom. Flowers have always grabbed our attention. The first thing that comes to our mind is touching its petals, which is a instant reaction and then we want to enjoy its beautiful fragrance. Flowers are inspiration for artists, photographers, poets. Delicate yet beautiful, full of color and life. They are admired, kept in rooms and gifted as token of love and affection. We perceive them as beautiful and source of inspiration.
Flowers are of different color and shape. When we watch them grow and blossom, at times we also found them to be imperfect in shape or may be color, but still we feel they are beautiful. We accept them as they are and this is a big lesson that we can learn from them, “Accept other’s as they are”. No body is perfect in this world. We are here to care, admire and share.
Hans Christian Andersen has rightly said:
“Just living is not enough… one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.”
