I don’t ask for the meaning of the song of a bird or the rising of the sun on a misty morning. There they are, and they are beautiful – Pete Hamill
They are indeed beautiful and watching them happily chirping in the morning in the lap of nature, where they are away from pollution and murky noise of so called machines made by us….. which we call development….. is indeed a beautiful sight.
Enjoy some random shots from Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary in Gurgaon, India which I visited recently.
The above image (cover image) is that of a female Pied Bushchat (Saxicola Caprata). The male bird is black white white vent and shoulders. This small bird is a joy to watch. Specially in the month of February when males sing song to attract females……
Another beauty to watch is Black Drongo…… Agile full of energy….. with black shiny feathers……. and yes this is an aggressive specie……
Enjoy the marvelous creation of God……..
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better – Albert Einstein
There is no doubt that nature is the most potent force, at the same time it has a calming effect on our mind. The insulated world we have built around ourselves detaching from the nature, does no good!

Nothing, but nothing compares with the wonders that nature presents us with and so many are just a glance away if we only take the time to stop and stare. Beautiful post, thank you 🙏🏼

In addition to admiring its beauty we can learn so much from nature, can’t we? So much is metaphorical. The bee stings and dies. Roses and thorns… We can learn from that.
Love those quotes!

Mother Nature has so much to offer and birds are one of the most wonderful creatures she has created. I’ve started a series “Birds We See Around” in which I feature birds in and around my house…. 🙂 A couple of drongos visit my garden every morning.
